Walter Earl Eborn, also known as Yung Gwop, was born in Bronx, New York on September 15th 1991. He is the son of Julie Eborn and Walter Cooper , a absentee father. Yung Gwop lost his mother at a young age due to cancer, and was raised by his sister Theresa in Mobile, Alabama. Yung Gwop was given his rap name by a neighborhood man whose grass Gwop would cut every Saturday to support his family, while other young kids were outside playing he was trying to make a living. Shortly after given the name Gwop, he developed a love for music at a young age being influenced by Hip Hop icons Jay-Z, 2-pac and Heavy D.
