I'm voting for Trump and here's why...INFO COMMENTS
After several weeks off the air, I have had time to collect my thoughts and really think about this Election and Donald Trump.
The way I see it, there are many passionate supporters of either Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, who are not letting go. Unable to see their loss as a real loss, they continue to gin up support and cast doubt among other voters about the actual Republican Nominee, Donald Trump.
I have come to know many of these supporters through my Marco Rubio groups, and have featured many of them on my program to talk about Rubio.
But the truth is, Rubio is out of the Presidential race, and trying to secure his Senate seat. Holding on to something that even he isn't holding on to is not right. We have to let go.
Once we come to this realization, it is clear, no 3rd Party candidate has a chance to BEAT Hillary. What they do have the chance to do, is ensure Trump loses and Hillary Clinton is our next president.
This program contains some thoughts on this topic.
Duke Machado Show 2-3-16 : #JoshGarrett, #MarcoRubio,#TexasTonight, we talked about Marco Rubio's "MarcoMomentum" with Rubio supporter Josh Garrett, from Texas. With so many candidates leaving the race, the rush for supporters is on. We discussed this strategy and talked about why he supports Marco Rubio. We also talked about Ted Cruz and his strange tactics against Ben Carson.
Duke Machado Show 2-2-16 : #IranDeal, #Islam, #TermLimitsHad a great conversation with Dr. Oualaalou tonight. The program goes into the intricacies of the Islamic issues abroad and locally. We also discussed Immigration, as well as Term Limits. Show was Broadcast live on www.PatriotInsightRadio.com 2/2/2016.
Duke Machado Show: Arizona Border Update w/ Dean Remington Had an insightful conversation with AZ Border Volunteer, Dean Remington. He shares the good, the bad and the ugly regarding the condition of the border, and he also talks about the issues the residents are facing in Arizona. We also discussed immigration and the influx of Islamic immigrants (special customers) and the Cartel process as well as border agent corruption.
(R-TX) Rep. Bill Flores talks Terrorism, Energy, ImmigrationCongressman Bill Flores, from Texas, joins Host, Duke Machado for a 30 minute interview and discussion about current issues including ISIS, the Middle East, Russia, Turkey, and of course our border and Immigration as well as touching on some Energy policy points. Lots of great info, PLUS a little about his new appointment from Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan as an Advisor.
The Duke Machado Show: Calling Out Ted Cruz Immigration PlanWhenever I hear someone cheer when a Republican candidate panders to the base about mass deportation, it really frustrates me. Not because I don't think they should have an opinion, but because they are unwilling to consider the reality of actually accomplishing the "promise to deport." For the past several Presidential elections, Republicans have lost more and more of the Hispanic vote. Why? It's simple...immigration. We Republicans are so intoxicated with the vision of round-ups and Eisenhower deportations, that we fail to see the potential downfall in a general election. Aren't we supposed to be the Party of fiscal responsibility? If so, then wouldn't it be easier, less expensive and more beneficial to the U.S. to find an alternative to mass deportation? Are we unable to think past going door-to-door and asking people for their proof of residence? It's unpopular to be on the side of solutions. Anyone can say, "Hell yeah! Let's round 'em all up and ship them out!" Doing it is another thing. Is that what the Republican Party is all about? Has our Party been hi-jacked by extremists as well? We'll talk about this in detail. I invite listeners to call in and share your thoughts.
10/16/15 - Is it OK to be Exceptional?Last night we had Dr. David Oualaalou, Professor at McLennan College, on to speak about education. He mentioned that we needed to have higher standards in our education and instill exceptional-ism into our students. I agree with him, but many in Liberal/progressive circles will say this is not a good approach. Instead, we are reminded of the now dubbed, "American Apology Tour," by President Obama. He toured the world to inform the global residents, America is not an Exceptional country. We are average, regular peopl, like everyone else in the world. Sure, I'm paraphrasing, but you get the point. Why is it so important for progressives to control the education system? Why must we take on the "average mindset" and perform at average capacity? Tune-in tonight at 10pm CT to listen this discussion. I'll be taking LIVE calls tonight, so feel free to call in!
