Are your doubts holding back your blessings? Learn from Abraham, who is no doubt one of the most significant persons named in the Bible. Just think about it . . .

Now the title of the Sermon says, “The Covenant”, but I couldn’t get past verse 1. “When Abraham was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am God Almighty, walk before me and be blameless and I will confirm my Covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”

God’s continued patience and faithfulness in the lives of His children is often amazing. This is particularly true when God selects someone to achieve a special purpose. And no purpose perhaps was more special in the Old Testament than the one God chose Abraham to help Him achieve – the salvation of humanity. Next to Jesus Christ, Abraham is no doubt one of the most significant persons named in the Bible.

True, Moses stands out as the greatest prophet in Israel. But if it were not for Abraham, there would have been no nation for Moses to lead. Just think about the fact that. . . .
