Me Singing Papa CanYou Hear MeThis is a recording from earlier this year (2012) of me singing "Papa Can You Hear Me" by Charlotte Church (her rendition, anyway). You can really hear my terrible breath control in this clip. That's another major weakness I have in singing, and I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. Recorded on my cell.
Me Singing The Only ExceptionThis is a recording from like last month (Aug 2012) of me singing "The Only Exception" by Paramore. I was driving to the store in my car and recording again on my cell phone. For the most part, YIKES, but there is some potential on this, I guess. Oh yea, and don't forget to close your ears at the bridge LOL
Me Singing At Your BestThis is a recording from over the summer (2012) of me singing "At Your Best" by Aaliyah (her rendition of the original song by The Isley Brothers). I was driving home from work and just messing around. Recorded on my cell phone.. Bleeeeeeh..
Me Singing Dear FriendThis is a recording from Spring 2012 of me singing "Dear Friend" By Stacie Orrico. I think this had potential at the beginning, but started to fizzle out as it went on. Towards the end, you can almost hear the moment when I start to get lazy in my singing.. I got unmotivated after hearing myself go flat, pitchy, nasally, and hearing some failed vibrato attempts. There were also many parts that were too forced, but one of my biggest weaknesses in singing has been my weak projection, so I've been trying to force it on purpose to try to experiment with how to fix this since I really don't know how else to do it lol... You can also hear the slight frog in my throat too (I was getting over a chest cold at the time) which causes me to sound more raspy than normal, but there are some parts of this where I'm thinking "eaaaaghh fail.." But, they say practice makes perfect, and my intention in uploading these recordings is for me to harshly critque myself and to try to force myself to come out of my shell a bit. We'll see. Recorded on my cell phone again, hence, terrible audio quality..

Me Singing The PrayerThis is a recording from the beginning of this year (2012) of me trying to sing along with someone's Youtube upload of their cover of "The Prayer" By Josh Groban. I'm using my cell phone to record me as I sing along to the computer, hence, the horrible audio quality. I also forgot some of the words that weren't in English, sooo... yea... hmm... bad, bad, bad..
Me Singing Just Like A StarThis is a recording from 2008 of me singing and trying to play guitar to "Just Like A Star" by Corrine Bailey Rae. Once again, terrible editing... and generally an epic fail. But this was my first attempt at trying to sing and play guitar at the same time, so cut me some slack here.. :p Just kidding! 'Cuz I'm my own worst critic, so don't even get me started on this one lol. On a side note, I am currently accepting donations for lessons if anyone happens to be feeling generous and compelled ;) ;)
Me Singing Thank You (Ashanti)This is a recording from 2007 of me singing "Thank You" by Ashanti. You'll have to excuse the terrible editing attempt... It makes me sound like I'm in a wind tunnel full of bees, however, I can't really complain about how this kind of smudges the parts where I go flat and sharp LOL
