It’s a question that really, really matters. So you know your Bible, but do you know Jesus? An even greater question is, Does Jesus know you? In Matthew 7 starting in verse 22 the Lord speaks clearly about “Who’s Who” in His eyes. It would do you well to listen to today’s inspired Word and to invite the Lord to know you and for you to know Him. It’s one thing to do works in His name and another to know Him and to be known by Him. Have you been using the Lord to make a name for yourself? Why do you do what you do? What is your motivation and your purpose for the things that you do in His name? Has He told you to do what you do or did you imagine that it would be a good thing to do? If you are going to stand upon the Rock it will be necessary for you to also lean upon the Rock, who is Christ Jesus.
