I had heard only a few songs of Pankaj Mullick and I liked them all but when Hemant Tholappa and Hema Shamal introduced this song about two years ago I instantly liked it and sang it. A few Hindi words that I was unsure of got corrected after I listening to their covers but still a word "Baanchta" I was not sure of I have used exactly as it appeared in MG clip. I believe it means Baant'ta...give away, shared. Quite an oldie from around late 50's or early 60's.

One more thing got cleared today was Pankaj Ji's last name, which in Pakistan is spelled as Malik and I used to wonder why until I found a signed portrait of the Guru himself where I could read a clear Mullick.

Hope you all enjoy this non-filmi Bhajjan type song in my voice that I sang along playing harmonium. Lyrics are very good too but I have no idea who's?
