Requiem - Slimmer OrchA slimmer arrangement by yours truly. Features one of each--trumpet; french horn; trombone; clarinet; flute; violin; keyboard (synth strings for volume); bass guitar. The original orchestration requires two trumpets but I've reassigned one of the trumpet parts to the clarinet since it has similar tone and thickness. All other parts are unchanged. This is a "dirty" mix; ie: rendered directly from sequencer, so pardon any unevenness.

Requiem - BrassImproved brass section and a flute thrown in for accompinament. Smaller productions that can't afford a string section would do fine with the just a french horn, trumpet, trombone, and flute for the Requiem. I kinda like the barebones eerieness of it all. This features a fuller brass section--6 trumpets; 5 french horns; 4 trombones. I might post the slimmer variation later.
"Requiem For Evita"Here's a preview of the opening number from Evita. Still needs much work and this sampling features many midi instruments so forgive the obvious synth sound, especially the horns and trombones at the end of the big, dramatic surge, and all the percussion is your standard midi. There should also be some silence right after that part and the start of the strings and flute, right before the crowd continues chanting. Other than that and some still-missing instrumentation (Guitar 2, and some percussion), this is what I've got so far. Enjoy.

Valjean's Soliloquy - Full String Section v.2Improved string section using only real string samples and with added nuances. This recreates specifically the sound of 6 violins; 2 violas; 2 celli; and a double bass, the original Broadway production pit standard (with the exception of the bass which wasn't included at the Imperial but is given its own section on the Complete Symphonic and 10th Anniversary Recordings). Orchestration by John Cameron.
"What Have I Done" - Valjean's SoliloquyOh, what have they done? Original string section orchestration selection to that defining moment. It has since been chucked in celebration of the show's 25th anniversary.<br />
<br />
Featured are 25 violins; 10 violas; 5 celli; and 2 basses.
OMO - StringsImproved string section sample. Not final version. Many inaccuracies since I am using a project file from an earlier version. For a nearly 100% accurate version, refer to the preview version of this song uploaded here.
