Agresto, who was formerly president of St. Johns College, is the author of Mugged by Reality: The Liberation of Iraq and the Failure of Good Intentions.

On May 7, Agresto gave a speech at the Hudson Institute in Washington in which he talked about his experience in Iraq, and the causes of the United States failures there.

Due to its length, the speech is in three installments.
