Deacon Dominic Cerrato received his BA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and his MA in Theology from Duquesne University of the Holy Ghost. At Duquesne, he also completed his doctoral course work in systematic theology and received his Ph.D. from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Deacon Cerrato has taught theology at Franciscan University and Duquesne University. He has also developed and directed the MA in Theology Distance Learning program at Franciscan University. Ordained the first permanent deacon in the Diocese of Steubenville in 1995, he is currently on assignment in the Diocese of Richmond where he serves as full-time Director of Adult Faith Formation at St. Bede Catholic Church, a 3800 family parish in Williamsburg, Virginia. Deacon Cerrato and his wife Judith have been married for 30 years and they have seven children.
