In Hour 2 we welcome JFDR, the project from young and prolific Icelandic songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jófrí›ur Ákadóttir, who has been making music since the age of 14 and has already made a big impression on fellow Icelandic artist Bjork. Her debut solo full length album Brazil was released last week through her own label White Sun Records and she plays her first London show at Peckham's The Nines on March 24th. Music featured includes tracks from Jaco Pastorius, Arthur Russell, Talk Talk, aaron Roche and Philip Glass. She told us;
"This mixtape is about the unknown depths of love, swimming between its highs and lows like a fish, facing any current and exploring it, staying with it immersed in all its pain and darkness, until a bright, glorious moment of clarity wakes you up, stronger and more open than ever. "
