Dear All....
I have always considered our beloved Muzaffar Naqvi Sahab as my own brother, with lots of respect & love. As you all know, apart from being a great versatile singer, he is a noble & adorable human being, who has always been a great source of inspiration & unstinted support to fellow-singers like me...
Now, coming to the point, my humble self would not have accomplished singing & uploading this soothing song "Mujhe Tum Nazar Se" from the Pakistani film "Doraha", which had been originally sung by the Legendary Mehdi Hassan Sahab who is well-known as "Pakistan's own Mohammed Rafi", but for the affectionate & invaluable support of Naqvi Sahab by way of inspiring me & providing me with the song, its lyrics & karaoke track...My most humble salute & hearty thanks to dear Naqvi Sahab for all that....
With regard to the song, I am reproducing some of those invaluable information provided by Naqvi Sahab himself....

"Those were the days when Waheed Murad was very popular among young boys and girls. His previous film Arman 1965 with Zeba had made him a hero to be admired by film goers and with this film Doraha 1967 he reached heights of being loved by Pakistani audience. Shamim Ara, the heroine was not the best choice at the time as Zeba was considered the right acting partner for Waheed Murad but she was also an skilled actor and had gained enough appreciation from Pakistani audiences through her other films. She was quite senior to Waheed Murad. Waheed Murad was musically inclined too and you can see how he played the starting piano in this song. It looks as if he played the piece for the song himself.
Sohail Rana, the music composer at the time, was also very famous for creating light music but he had demonstrated that he can write raag based classical music too. He was much influenced by Shankar-Jaikishan's music but he was a genius at creating something better using a slight glimpse from other songs."

So, with the blessings from The Almighty GOD & the precious support of Muzaffar Naqvi Sahab, I am extremely happy to present my modest cover of this soothing & nostalgic song as my humble dedication to the One & Only One Naqvi Sahab....Hope all your good selves would certainly grant a patient listen to this & post your most valuable remarks at leisure.....
